Post Office Workers

Today in Westminster Hall, Duncan Baker MP spoke up for the Post Office workers falsely accused of theft, false accounting, and fraud. 

As a result of defects and deficiencies in the Post Office's 'Horizon' system, monies properly accounted for by hundreds of postmasters and sub-postmasters were deemed to be missing. This resulted in innocent workers being suspended or sacked, prosecuted, and - in some cases - jailed.
