📢  This morning I raised in Parliament the continuing issue of the Stiffkey Bridge replacement. 

👉 This was removed over 18 months ago by the National Trust to widespread local concern. 

After the appalling bombing on the Al Ahli Hospital last night, I raised the issue brought to me by the Rev David Longe, who was a Priest in Jerusalem before coming to Saxthorpe & Corpusty in the constituency.

I held a meeting this morning with the local ICB and Norfolk Community Healthcare Trust to continue the campaign for Benjamin Court to remain open and at all costs, the site to be retained for NHS uses.

Lloyds bank closures and problems with banking hubs.

As promised, I’ve just spoken in this evening’s Financial Services debate and brought up the situation in Parliament regarding the Cromer and North Walsham Lloyds bank closures.

Supporting our local charities has been a real passion for me. It’s been a privilege to run the London Marathon and so far donate £90,000 to over 40 local charities.

Recently I met with Omaze who run prize draws to win homes, cars and cash.

This morning on the floor of the House, I raised again the campaign to improve the Sheringham A148/Holway Road junction.

I thanked the Minister for visiting, seeing the congestion himself and rat running in the neighbouring villages as people avoid the junction.

It’s been a busy month around North Norfolk with some really important local and national news which will be hugely beneficial for North Norfolk.
